KeyLuxe LLC. was founded in January 2019 as Key'Luxe Co., by Kierra Williams, a 24 year old law student. She was born in Chicago and raised in the south suburbs where she learned first-hand from her parents how to run a business. The beauty industry has always been a part of her legacy, because her parents are the owners of Silk & Classy Barber College. 

In 2014, Kierra graduated Valedictorian of her high school class from Thornton Township. During the fall of that year, she enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she studied Community Health for four years. In May 2018, Kierra graduated from UIUC with a Bachelor of Science degree. Following college, she decided to embrace the hair industry that had always been an integral part of her life and she started cosmetology school at Dudley's Beauty College in the summer of 2018. One day while at school Kierra had a vision for a beauty brand and it was then that KeyLuxe Co. was born. 

KeyLuxe Co. was originally a hair company that sold hair extensions and lashes. A few months into the business Kierra developed a handmade, from scratch lip gloss recipe and added lip gloss to the business catalog. In March 2020, after being laid off from work due to Covid-19 Kierra started working on a rebrand of KeyLuxe products. In May of that same year Kierra successfully launched KeyLuxe Kosmetics. And in July KeyLuxe Co. officially became KeyLuxe LLC.
